Our Search facilities allow you to search for an area, type of property or price range. Once you have registered in the Members Area (on the left of this page) carried out a search and found a selection of properties to meet your criteria, you can save these in your own Saved Properties folder. You can then return to this folder at any time. When you register in our Members Area other properties which fit your criteria will automatically be emailed to you as they are added to the website. We recommend you then look at each property in detail, study the detailed information given about the property, facilities and the area and then when you are ready either go ahead to purchase or you would like to view the property, just follow the instructions on the property details. This could be by contacting the owner direct or contacting us to make whatever arrangements you require. | | | | | Our inspection trips are only intended for serious buyers who are in a position to proceed with the purchase of a property when they visit and if the property suits them. When purchasing resale property the time span between signing a purchase contract and completion will be much quicker than buying an off-plan property, and you may be expected to complete within 4-6 weeks. If you have a house for sale and the sale of this property is dependent on the purchase of the property overseas, then you should wait until you have a definite buyer before taking an inspection trip.
If you are visiting the area and have booked your own accommodation, we would be happy to arrange a viewing appointment and show you properties whilst you are there. This also applies to completed new properties which have been repossessed by the bank either from a private owner or a builder/developer.
Clients wishing to go on an inspection trip will be expected to pay for these arrangements in full. However, we can assist in arranging your accommodation in Spain and will meet you at the airport to take you to your accommodation and return journey to the airport on departure. |

| Once you have found a property and decided to purchase, you will be directed to a Spanish English speaking solicitor who will deal with your purchase and look after all the legal arrangements as necessary if you should so require.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask whilst you are on the inspection trip. Everyone at the Resale Property Shop is there to guide you and ensure you are completely comfortable with your purchase. |
| | We cannot stress enough that you should use the services of a solicitor to assist you in the buying process and ensure that the necessary searches are carried out to protect you. We will assist you in finding an English-speaking independent solicitor who will liaise with the vendors solicitor to draft contracts and your solicitor will then carry out the necessary searches to ensure there are no adverse problems on the property which might affect your title. When these searches have been completed your solicitor will forward the contracts to you for signing and request that you arrange for the payment of a 10% deposit into the solicitors client account in readiness for exchange of contracts. Normally completion will take place within 4-6 weeks. If you require a mortgage, we, or your solicitor, can assist you in finding a suitable finance company in either Spain or the UK prior to signing and exchanging contracts.
